On June 12, NIOSH will host a free webinar on the occupational health and safety issues of emerging technologies as part of its 2019 “Expanding Research Partnerships” Webinar Series. The series is intended to increase awareness of the topic areas being addressed by NIOSH-funded research and knowledge of areas where new research partnerships can be developed. The upcoming webinar will cover topics such as NIOSH’s advanced manufacturing initiative and OHS in nanotechnology. Scheduled presenters include Charles Geraci, PhD, CIH, FAIHA, NIOSH’s associate director for emerging technologies; Sally S. Tinkle, PhD, the Science and Technology Policy Institute’s senior strategy and policy manager; and Nicole M.
